Small batch Gin crafted with Ocean kelp. Born from a partnership between Triple Eight Distillery on Nantucket and Norfolk Green Ventures in Maine, Nantucket Salty Gin or SALTY for short, began with a simple idea: craft a gin as unique and refreshing as the ocean.
Our kelp is grown in the cold, pristine waters of Casco Bay, Maine, where it helps clean the ocean, captures carbon, and restores marine ecosystems. Seaweed doesn’t need fresh water, fertilizer, or farmland, and it absorbs carbon 50 times faster than trees.
Triple Eight’s award-winning distilling team have delivered something remarkable: a smooth, bright, coastal gin with just a hint of ocean umami -- every sip carries the flavor and purpose of the sea.
